I am a cinematographer and documentary filmmaker; active member of the Colombian Society of Cinematographers (ADFC), with a portfolio that includes fictional and documentary feature films, series, music videos, art collaborations and commercial work.
Experienced in single and multi-camera production, between remote locations or studio sets for films premiered at Berlinale, CPH:DOX, Palm Springs, HotDocs, Oberhausen, and Guanajuato, among other festivals, and for projects of AppleTV+, Amazon Prime, HBO, Netflix, VIX+, Colombian TV, or Movistar+.
My work has been nominated for best cinematography at the Macondo Film Awards 2022 and the India Catalina TV Awards 2021.
I hold a degree in cinematography from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) and a university degree in Audiovisual Media.
Co-founder of Fish In Water Films, a Berlin-Bogotá-based production collective focusing on documentaries and social content in challenging and remote regions. Our projects strive to make a positive impact in crisis contexts.
